Tweed 5F1 Amp Kit

I ordered this kit with ALL THE UPGRADES. Sprague filter caps, Jupiter coupling caps, Mercury Output tranny, Fender Champ replica logo, 10 inch baffle with Ted Weber Sig speaker. Superb quality components and sounds super good when completed. I own a Morgan RCA35 with A Celestion Gold but it was simply too big and loud to be cranked. I find myself really enjoying this Champ due to the more usable tones from a smaller wattage amp. With the 10” speaker, the ‘boxiness’ is somewhat reduced at higher volumes. The low end really sings well in this amp. One thing that really impressed me was the build quality of the tweed cabinet, something which I had to wait 8 weeks for. The construction is spot on and the Tweed with Lacquer perfectly applied. Even the corners were done superbly! I also decided to go with Marsh Amps because of the accuracy of the Champ Cabinet. I think no other company does the cabinet like the originals, especially the rear panels. If you’re looking to build an exact replica of the good ol’ Champ, I highly recommend this! :)
