I bought the chassis kit a few days ago. I did expect it to be a pretty nice kit coming from Marsh, whom I have heard of many times. What I received was way beyond what I had expected. The parts are all first class, as is the chassis quality and the transformers. The instructions were clear and should make it fairly easy for anyone to accomplish a good build.
What I did not expect was the tone this amp gives. I wanted full tone without extreme or even high volume levels. I got that tone and ten times more with this amp.
Since I am still building my cab/speaker combo for this chassis I actually just hooked it up to the little cheap 8 inch speaker in my Epi Valve Junior combo. I am absolutely astounded by what this chassis does through this speaker and cab. Nice rich tone, making my Deluxe Strat sound anywhere from country smooth to smoky blues overdrive to some nice heavy Clapton Champ tone!
Very happy. Will recommend to others highly and will recommend Mike Marsh's company and products.
