After changing out the upgrade speaker (Alnico Cali 15), I ordered with the amp and replaced it with a speaker emitting a lot less treble, I heard that sweet warm Fender tone. This is very well made amp and has a pure vintage vibe, recognized on countless recordings. I currently play out with the Marsh '64 Vibroverb and I always receive compliments on my amp's tone. If original Fender tone is your thing, this amp is sure to please.
